Go Slow Yin Yoga is a deep practice which works on releasing tension in the fascia which in turn naturally lengthens connective tissue such as ligaments and tendons. This helps us to increase our flexibility, agility and mobility safely. During the practice we stay for extended periods in postures allowing for the nourishment of connective tissues. Because we are letting go into these shapes and staying for a period, we can also find that this is an introspective, reflective practice in which we can turn our focus inwards and in that space and time, begin to know and understand ourselves better.
